    3. 2026 10 26 A Quiet Week At Skatteguru
    October 26, 2026

    Don't worry, we'll be back

Skatteguru is offline while our small team is away, until November 5.

    An office workspace

Skatteguru is built and run by a small team. Next week the team will be unable to monitor the site. We have temporarily disabled most things that require your login in the meantime. We have no reason to suspect a breach, but precaution seems wise today: Not being able to act on threats while our critical systems are online is too risky.

    Appendix: security incidents last week

These reports provide background to our decision. Our Vendors and External Services page lists the external services we use in production.

    • October 21 Node.js issued security updates, including a Brotli decoder fix. This impacted our Next.js frontend and required an urgent update of an npm package.
    • October 22 Some AI provider API keys and other credentials used by Skatteguru (not our customers) were potentially compromised at Railway and needed urgent rotation.
